The Ananda Marga River School is located on the Ananda Kamala Master Unit, with a jagriti, school and adjoining family community on 50 beautiful rainforest acres with a flowing creek, just outside the small community of Maleny, Queensland. The school is 1.5 hours from Brisbane, and pick-ups can be arranged from the Brisbane Airport.
(The Sunshine Coast airport is even closer, and the Gold Coast airport is also not very far.)

Accomodation:
Accommodation will be mostly in the school buildings and jagriti with shared shower and toilet facilities. Alternatively, participants may choose to book accommodation in the Maleny area (many picturesque lodgings are available, but we advise you to book early.)

Delicious vegetarian meals will be provided. Collective meditation and kiirtan chanting will be held twice daily.

$250 AUD (around $170 USD)

Sightseeing:
Maleny is 30 minutes from Sunshine Coast beaches, 20 minutes from the Irwin’s Australia Zoo (a great place to enjoy Australian native animals), and full of beautiful spots such as Mary Caincross Rainforest Reserve, The Glass House Mts and Kondalilla Falls National Park. Maleny also has a large number of cooperative enterprises on the main street and is a half hour away from the Crystal Waters Permaculture community. Collective excursions can be organised.

Ananda Kamala Master Unit is 4.5 hours north of Vistara School and the Ananda Rainjana MU in Lismore, 4.5 hours east of Ananda Pali sectorial MU in Stanthorpe, and 1.5 hours south of the WWD Sectorial MU in Gympie. There are brothers’ and sisters’ jagritis in Brisbane (1.5 hours east.)

What to bring:
Bring bedding, towels, toiletries, light clothes for daytime and warmer clothes for evening (a jacket and warm pants.) You might want swimming things. Some mattresses can be provided. Please let us know if you will need one, or also if you require a room in a private home.
