NERI is an attempt to bring together the research initiatives of all Neo-Humanist Education action researchers from around the world. Dr. Shambhúshivánanda is personally supervising this project with the assistance of Dr. Supriya Bonotto in Italia, Dr.Kitiawan Amatayakun in Bangkok, Dr. Kathleen Kesson in Vermont and the active staff of Neo-Humanist Movement from around the world.

China and India have had a long tradition of dialogue in spiritual matters. The tradition of Tantra has been greatly enriched by both Chinese sages and Indian Yogis. This academy is an attempt to bring together the basic knowledge related to Higher Consciousness within the framework of scientific study and research. The Vidyápiitha will also explore the application of Tantrika precepts to contemporary problems facing society: political, economic, social, educational, environmental and the rest. This academy is affiliated to the Tantra Vidyápiitha of Ánanda Nagar, West Bengal, India.

This is a tertiary educational institute, which aims to teach the theory and practice of social transformation, based on Neo-humanist principles. It envisions to provide a solid grounding in PROUT (PROgressive Utilisation Theory); integrating theory, praxis and policy dimensions.
