The Tantra Vidyapiitha is an institute of advanced training and research in Tantra and Allied Sciences. It offers a one year Diploma course and a two year Graduate Degree Course as well as a Ph.D. program in Tantra and Allied Sciences.

The focus of this advanced center of learning is to create a proper environment for research on consciousness as propounded initially by Sadashiva and later enriched. The Tantra-Shastras have been the basis of aesthetics, supra-aesthetics, medical and social sciences for literally thousands of years in India, China and South-east Asia. It is only in the last 100 years that some of the scriptures of Tantra were translated by scholars like Sir John Woodruff and brought to the attention of the Western world for the first time.

In this century, Shrii Prabhat Rainjan Sarkar freed the science of Tantra from its mythological connotations and opened the path way for further research and understanding of this important subject. Tantra Vidyapiitha is a pioneering attempt to preserve the hidden wisdom of Tantra and explore its applications and relationships to biological, natural and social sciences and all other faculties as well.

The Tantra Vidyapiitha will endeavor the explore the wisdom of Tantra from different sources - Hindu, Buddhist, Chinese, Tibetan, Jain and others, and bring the basic knowledge related to Higher consciousness within the framework of scientific study and research.

The Vidyapiitha will also explore the application of Tantrika precepts to contemporary problems facing society -- political, economic, social, educational, environmental and the rest.

In collaboration with affiliated institutions of Ananda Marga Gurukula the Tantra Vidyapiitha will serve as a center for advanced studies, research and training in order to foster social changes based on justice to all beings.
